The cafe’s warm atmosphere–with paintings by local artists hanging from the walls, comfy leather couches, and a friendly staff–have made the venue the most popular spot for dancing in BCS two years in a row.
Begin with a fun complimentary salsa lesson at 9pm, no partner or experience necessary. Guests learn all of the basic steps in a jovial atmosphere, with an energetic instructor notorious for making you laugh while learning.

“High Maintenance isn’t your average bluegrass band. We get our band’s name from the challenging songs we choose to perform, such as “bluegrassed” covers of The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, and other favorites.
Kevin Duff, Todd Pollard, Susannah Armstrong and Lynn McDaniel provide strong four-part harmonies on bluegrass, newgrass, gospel, rock/pop, country and original songs. We’re frequently joined by guest artist and 2011 Texas State Mandolin Champion JP Shafer. “

Kristy is a Texas-based singer/songwriter with a fondness of American music from the early 1900′s, whether it is country, jazz of folk. Born and raised in the Dallas area, she also spent time in New Orieans, where she pick up a love for early New Orleans jazz.
Kristy’s music has been featured on National Public Radio stations throughout the United States. She is also a storyteller and has contributed to Public Radio International’s “This America Life.”
